A1 signs Steelers sponsorship

A1 has signed a sponsorship deal with ice hockey team the Sheffield Steelers.

We’re huge fans of the Elite Ice Hockey League team and the deal will see dasher boards around the ice with our company branding on them, as well as in the programme each match.  The company name will take centre stage when it appears on the videotron and a link will for the company website will be available on the Steelers website.

Director TJ Duncan-Moir said that there are a lot of benefits of the company becoming so closely aligned with the Steelers.

“A1 Flue Systems is immensely proud to have struck a mutually beneficial relationship with the Sheffield Steelers,” said TJ.

“Being a sponsor of the Steelers is a big deal for us, and we are going to be very proactive in promoting the relationship we have with the team, as it’s good for our business.

“We have built a strong and prosperous business over the last 40 years, based on the foundations of using only the best stainless steel for our flue systems. Our systems aren’t just in flagship London skyscrapers but are also in schools, hospitals and other public buildings right across the UK. We use the best stainless steel, which is why our link with the Steelers is such a natural fit.”

TJ added that the deal has already given A1 an unexpected morale boost after a few of the company’s 130-strong workforce were star-struck when Cullen Eddy, Luke Ferrara and Tyler Mosienko called into the factory for a photo-shoot, bringing the Steelers to a true ‘House of Steel’.

She added: “The looks on the faces of some of our team were priceless because they got to meet the new players, and the factory has been fizzing ever since – which is fantastic as we are working flat out to fulfil a large number of high-profile projects at the moment.”

"We are delighted that TJ Duncan-Moir and A1 Flue Systems will be working alongside us this season. We have built up an excellent relationship this summer and fully expect that to only be enhanced during the season"
