A1 team runners-up in golf fundraiser

A team from A1 Flue Systems were runners-up in a strong field at a charity fundraiser golf day that was raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The event was organised by CPS Building Services Ltd – which designs, installs and maintains commercial heating systems, air-conditioning systems, electrical works and domestic hot water systems – as part of its 21^st anniversary pledge to raise £21,000 for the society.

More than 20 teams of suppliers, partners and associates of the Oakington-based company took part and raised more than £6,500 for the event.

A1’s team captain Lee Willson said: “The A1 team are delighted to be part of an event that helped raise so much money for such a worthy cause, and being runners-up capped off a great day.”
