FLUES INSTALLED IN THE NICK OF TIME

A flue dilution system was provided by A1 Bridge Flue Systems at Portsmouth Police Station and Magistrates Court when the plant room and heating system were refurbished.
The refurbishment formed part of Hampshire County Council’s on-going energy efficiency programme designed to improve energy usage and reduce CO2 emissions.

The complex houses the court, police station, probation service and Crown Prosecution Service offices and the upgrade to the plant and services was required in order to update the old system which had been installed in the 1950’s.

Mike Clare explained: “The flue dilution system was designed, manufactured and installed to ensure that both the boiler manufacturers draught requirements and all current environmental standards were fully complied with.
