Hull - Water & Waste Treatment Plant

NO WASTE IN HULL FOLLOWING 1KM FLUE INSTALLATION

A system involving more than 1km of boiler flues has been completed by A1 Bridge Flue Systems at Yorkshire Water’s new Hull Waste Water Treatment centre.
Working with design and build contractor Kvaerner Construction and process engineering contractor Kvaerner Water, A1 Bridge Flue Systems provided the Delta system for the site. Their work so impressed fellow contractor Norwest Holst, the A1 team were asked to supply equipment to assist with dust control, ventilation, methane recovery, sewage tank vents and the odour control system.

Mike Clare of A1 Bridge Flue Systems said: “Alongside the design and manufacture of the system, our in-house team of installers were able to cope with the complex fitting requirements on-site.

“Obviously we were delighted that our work literally ‘spoke for itself’ and as a result we obtained the further contract with Norwest Holst”.
